Backpacking: packing for hot in the cold

Packing for a backpacking and camping adventure while it's dumping snow outside is confusing.

To ski or to camp, ski or camp...ski or camp???  AAAAHH! What a lucky conundrum.

After a walk outside in my boots and snow pants, I pushed aside our ski helmets and goggles and pulled out our backpacking gear.

Memories of last summer made me smile...
