Labor Day

On Labor Day we took advantage of Steamboat's Yampa River Core Trail.  This is a short 8-mile trail that runs along the Yampa River from downtown Steamboat to the Southern edge of town.  We set out from our hotel in hopes of finding donuts at Milk Run. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, all the donuts were gone.  Instead we grumpily rode to Freshies for a real breakfast (which was healthy and delicious) but by the time we were finished with our breakfast scavenger hunt, the day was hot and it was time to wrap up our Labor Day bike ride and head home.

Kenedy pulled over to catch grasshoppers.

We stopped for a quick stretch in Winter Park on our way home.
