The Beach, Huntington Beach
We offset the chaos of October with a quick, lazy trip to the beach in early November.
Zen = the constant repetition of waves rolling in at sunset by the peer.
We took advantage of lodging points and booked a free night within walking distance of the beach. The hotel offered surfboards, boogie boards, towels and umbrellas free for check out along with evening s'more treats around gas-burning fire pits in the courtyard. Love!

Huntington Beach is an incredibly active and dynamic place. The pace was constant: walking, biking, driving, surfing, running, rollerskating, playing volleyball...

We joined in our own Colorado way: jumping waves, boogie boarding, building sand castles and just enjoying the warm, calm beach. We walked the beach and the peer and jealously watched surfers.

And before we were ready, it was time to head back to the airport and return to Colorado snowy cold.
